HOW TO APPLY

Our books open on Friday 21st February 2025. Please do not attempt to apply now, as your application will not be considered. Thank you!

APPLICATION FORM

Please use our application form to submit your child’s information (when our books open on 21/02/25). Please ensure the height in CMS is accurate and taken on the day of applying, and that you have filled in all sections before submitting the form and sending suitable images.


APPLICATION PHOTOS

Please read our ‘application photo guidelines’ & see examples listed below. You are required to take a selection of around 10-20 images following our guidelines below, you will need to send via ‘WeTransfer’ to applications@southcoastkidzltd.com with ‘CHILD’S FULL NAME’ as the title of the WeTransfer.

The images MUST be following our guidelines, otherwise the application will NOT be considered.

DO NOT SUBMIT INCORRECT IMAGES. YOU MUST TAKE NEW IMAGES FOR THIS APPLICATION FOLLOWING ALL STEPS LISTED BELOW.


APPLICATION PHOTO GUIDELINES

Use a mobile phone camera to take the application photos. Ensure the lense is clean.

  1. Get down to your child’s level. Do not take photos from an angle as this can distort your child’s features in photos.

  2. Ensure there is a good source of natural light. If there’s not good lighting inside, please go outside where possible.

  3. Do not use a filter, effect or flash. The images must be submitted unedited.

  4. Babies to be lying down on a white or neutral coloured blanket, unless they can sit unaided, then they should be sitting in front of a plain white or neutral wall. Children should stand in front of a plain white or neutral coloured wall inside or a fence/ brick wall outside.

  5. Take a mixture of photos on your mobile camera, showing different emotions where possible. Please include: close ups, mid & full length shots, and also smile with teeth/ without, laughing, serious face (no smiling), and also some natural poses, try talking to your child to capture them in a natural way.

  6. Hair to be left loose, dry with no product or styling for some shots, then hair to be tucked behind ears for a few shots & long hair to be tied in a loose style, or messy top knot for a few shots where possible.

  7. Children to wear a plain black, white or neutral fitted vest top or t-shirt with jeans, jean shorts or denim skirt (age appropriate clothing, no big brand logos, or bright colours). Babies should be wearing a basic plain sleep-suit or popper vest.

  8. No hair accessories, makeup or jewellery for all ages (earrings are fine).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

★ Only submit 1 application per child. We review ALL applications, so it will not better your child’s chances by applying multiple times.

★ Please do not call the office or email us to check the status of your child’s application, we will respond to ALL successful applicants within 14 days of applying.

★ We receive thousands of applications, and sadly we cannot accept every child. We can only respond to the successful applicants, if you do not hear from us within 14 days of applying, regretfully this does mean your child wasn’t successful, however we are happy for parents to reapply in the near future as our circumstances change.

★ We do NOT offer any feedback.

★ We remove all data within 14 days for any unsuccessful applicants.
